What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a technique to straighten the teeth without visible braces.
It involves trays without any metal or wires which irritate teeth and gums.
Invisalign is not noticeable in your mouth but is as effective as traditional metal braces.
The trays are also easily removable for brushing or eating.
What is Invisalign Process?
Step One: We will take scans of your teeth
Step Two: Images are sent to Invisalign laboratory as models to make your personalized trays.
Step Three: You will hear from Dr. Choi when trays are ready.
Step Four: Dr. Choi will fit the trays by small invisible attachments that are painless to attach.
Step Five: We will schedule a follow up appointment a few weeks post fitting in which your progress is checked, and if needed, the tray will be adjusted.
How Long it Takes?
The length of the procedure to get the desired straightening results depends on the severity of misalignment and compliance of the patient. It usually takes 10 to 24 months but for those requiring only a small degree of straightening, desired results can be achieved only in a few months.
